Ocho Rios, St. Ann
Dunn's River Falls
A 600-foot natural staircase you climb through flowing water, linked hand in hand with your group and led by park guides. It tests balance and stamina more than strength.

- Total visit
- About 3 hours

- Admission
- Included, with climb guides
When to go
- Your chauffeur plans pickup around the day's cruise schedule so your climb feels relaxed and unhurried.
- Weekends are a lovely time to visit, with fewer ships in port and a lively local atmosphere.
- Morning or early afternoon arrivals give you the most space to enjoy the falls at your own pace.
The climb
- You climb in a guided group, linked in a human chain.
- The ascent takes 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on pace.
- Guides posted along the climb are included in your admission ticket.
- Allow roughly three hours in total, including changing and time on the beach.
What to bring
- Water shoes with solid grip are all but essential. The rocks can be slippery, and the guides scrub a safe route up.
- Water shoes are sold at the park for about $10, or less at the Ocho Rios craft market. Closed-toe styles are best.
- A waterproof phone pouch for photos on the climb.
- Lockers cost $10 USD with $3 back when you return the key. Courtney (or your private chauffeur on the day) can secure your belongings in the van, so there is no need to pay for lockers.
